A member asked:

I have so many reservations about getting the covid vaccine, i want to get it so i can live again, but am fearful of reactions and future consequences, especially for my 34 year old son who has a lifetime ahead of him. is this safe? need some advice?

We possess 3 highly effective vaccines in the USA, and all could have potential adverse effects. But the infectivity of Delta variant is so high that it is imperative to have some protection. The risk/ benefit ratio appears to be statistically low enough to make it highly wise to get the JAB. There maybe some enhanced risks in those in early adolescence and below.
