Paroxysmal vertigo: There are a number of causes of dizziness, and I gather your ENT wants to cover more possibilities. It is not feasible here to recommend testing or help decisions by your physician, as "she" knows you best, and we would defer to her.

Yes: Completing work up as recommended by examining doc is recommended. While most times the study will only help to rule out conditions, there are times when the study will help reveal causes that may become life threatening and need to be addressed timely.
