? CRPS: Would fully re-evaluate status of bones and tendons in ankle, and recommend, if all else is non-revealing, doing a triple phase bone scan. A sympathetic block may point to what is occurring. If necessary, a QSART study will confirm. We may have here a complication called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (RSD), and at this point, reasonable to pursue this avenue.

You mentioned that everything was done trying to find a diagnosis. Nothing was found. I would now see a physical therapist and start to rehabilitate the ankle. Yes would re-evaluate the ankle during this time. The problem will usually localize and thus easier to diagnose. Soft tissue injury is more likely given all the X-rays are negative.
