Is your resting heart rate supposed to be taken when you wake up in the morning and are still in bed? mine can be in the low 60s while waking up but later in the day it can change from anywhere from 60-90 bpm. i dont know when i should take it?

Heart rate : There are many variables in the body that affect heart rate. Just getting out of bed can normally affect your heart rate. Most activities in life can affect heart rate. A rate of 60-90 beats /minute is normal. There are a lot of variables to the heart rhythm that need to be considered besides the number of beats per minutes
