NOT AT ALL: Many babies have this "bowing" of their legs. It has a lit to do with in utero positioning. Once she starts to get walk, the bones will remodel themselves, the hip muscles will get stronger and by age 2-3 she will be completely normal. This is very common in pediatrics, but if my answer doesn't calm your fears, find a pediatric orthopedist and get a second opinion to allay your fears.

Bowleggedness is a common condition in toddlers. Self limiting, after they have been walking for 6-12 months Your pediatrician may recommend a corrective brace or surgery if the legs do not straighten on their own after 2 years old. Treatment is required if caused by an underlying condition. Most children grow out of the condition and are able to run, walk and play without problems at all.
