I just had a changed of dose in synthroid from 100 mcg to 88 mcg.. apparently i am overmedicated. its been 5 days on the new dose , the fatigue is too much . how many days do you feel better after a change of dose of synthroid?

Check with doc: Fatigue often indicates too little thyroid hormone. MAY indicate the new dose is too low. Best to check with your thyroid doctor who can do a blood test to determine the appropriate dose.

I find a big difference since i changed from Synthroid (thyroxine) to eltroxin... Big weight gain, tired all the time etc.! dr says they both do the exact same?
