Sounds like you're: ...now well supplemented with thyroid hormone, but without knowing what your weight or BMI were before loss, its impossible to say if 10 pounds down was a good thing or if further weight loss may be desirable.

Hypothyroid? Sure?: TSH interpretation is based on clinical history and also the circumstances surrounding the lab draw. It is generally agreed that TSH over 10 is overt hypothyroidism. Difficult to comment whether you have subclinical hypothyroidism without a concomitant T4 or free T4 level. Ask your doctor to obtain free T4 and total T3 level. You may be experiencing 'hyperthyroid' symptoms including weight loss.
