Since i had covid in december 2022 i have been much more tired, i have no functioning thyroid gland, hashimoto's and am on 114 mcg thyroxine p/day -should i increase my dose by .25 mcg p/day? my dr. has no idea. he thinks it just 'age'. i disagree?

You need to go by your thyroid levels to know whether or not you need to increase your thyroid medicine. You need to get thyroid function tests and if they indicate you need more medicine, then the dose is increased. If the thyroid function tests are ok, then you need to find an alternate reason for your symptoms. Good luck!

Protracted fatigue symptoms have been described following COVID infection, not to mention reasons other than your thyroid for your symptoms. Increasing your thyroid without your doc’s permission and based on actual thyroid values is not recommended. Start gradual physical exercise.
