Hello...: A laborist is an obstetrics doctor who takes care of women in labor. To be an obstetrician, you would need to be able to perform c-sections, which is a surgery. Hope this helps! Good luck in all your endeavors!

I've seen two doctors, one said I need a microdiscectomy the other said I shouldn't have one & to have radio frequency ablation. Dr Steven Simon responded that it should go away in weeks, but it's been over year.
