Seizure disorder: I assume you had a vagus nerve stimulater implant because your antiseizure medication wasn't effective. Are you still taking some? Only a neurologist with experience in VNS therapy is qualified to advise you about why your seizure frequency has worsened since VNS therapy & whether adjustments have to be made and what medication regimen should be tried.

VNS UNITS: VNS unit settings should be readjusted depending upon changes over time. You are maybe having complex partial seizures, not petit mals. Usually, less anti-epileptic meds are continued with the VNS, and a therapeutic level should be maintained. Discuss your issues with the neurologist who manages your unit. Your pattern is reverse of expected.
