My 6 year old daughter tripped and hit the side of her head on a wooden table. i am so nervous that she has a concussion. she says it hurts a lot and i feel a big bump. she is icing it but worried it could be something more serious?

Objectification: A concussion is a acute head injury associated with loss of consciousness, amnesia, or a combination of both. It is transient. Post injury headaches are not uncommon, and do not correlate with "brain damage".
