Pain: Have you had an ultrasound of the right upper abdomen? Any gall bladder abnormalities? You may have sludge or very tiny gall stones or even stones in bile duct as a cause of pain. I'm reluctant to attribute severe pain to fibrosis or fatty liver. I recommend consulting an abdominal surgeon for an opinion. An MRCP, a type of MRI, may be revealing.
