Friend is very sick: No system of the body is spared in cirrhosis / end-stage liver disease. Will see general deterioration, endocrine problems, cardiovascular, GI (diarrhea, gastropathy, bleeding varices) pancreatic-biliary, neurologic, hematologic (coagulopathy ; bone marrow abnormalities), lung (hepatopulmonary), kidney (hepatorenal), lymphatic, dermatologic, musculoskeletal, ; higher risks of cancer.
