Been having chest pain on and off for weeks. being treated for costochondritis, but sometimes i feel pain in very specific spots in my right chest. also started tasting blood when i cough sometimes. do these symptoms still relate to costochondritis?

Unlikely: If there is indeed blood in your sputum that is not likely to be related to costochondritis and lung pathology will need to be further investigated. Starting with a focused exam with your doc would be best so that you have your condition diagnosed timely and treated properly.
