Does costochondritis cause pain in the shoulders while eating and drinking water? i have had an ekg, chest x-ray and and abdominal ct, as well as basic blood panel all normal. pain is in shoulders ribs and chest, sometime radiates from elbow to thumb?

Can be referred pain from very cold water (or hot) in esophagus or stomach. Keep diary to see if you can identify what it is you eat that is causing it.

This is unlikely to be costochondritir. Are you taking a statin? Also check Vit D to rule out Vit d deficiency
