Both diets r healthy: The Mediterranean diet and the DASH diet are both healthy and may aid in weight loss. Both diets are recommended in the US Dietary Guidelines. You can find the specifics of the diets quite easily on-line. Please find the Mediterranean diet "food pyramid" which should be very helpful for you. For sure, low intakes of red meat, processed meat, refined carbohydrates and sweets are encouraged.
