Had a dilated retina exam and OCT 6 hrs ago.All healthy. But Im noticing intermittent flickering in my left eye sort of like the shimmering after cataractsurgery. Is this a possible side effect from the numbing and dilation drops? Pupil still huge?
Had PVD 4 years ago. Recently had a new black floater so saw optho for dilated exam and OCT which were normal. Would these tests have picked up retinal or macular problems. The floater has disappeared now and doc said it was debris. Thoughts please?
When is scleral depression indicated?Doc said it was not required for me.He did a dilated non-depressed exam to review my symptomatic lattice(retina).
