A member asked:

I always have like a small clear jelly substance in my eyes and i have to blink a lot to get rid of it. what is that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mucus: More than likely this is mucus which is usually present in small quantities but can accumulate during sleep. As long as there is no discomfort, redness, thick discharge or visual symptoms, I don't think there's a problem. An ophthalmologist can evaluate and advise you if you still have concerns.
