I have a minor head cold right now, like i have a lot of congestion, and i feel a 'pressure' of sorts behind one of my eyes. is this common with colds? is it harmless or should i be worried? will it go away in time, & how do i get rid of the cold?

It is common. A heating pad to the forehead nose and cheeks often helps.
