Had cxr 11 days in to covid infection.x-ray came back as bilateral airspace opacities and bronchial wall thickening.given antibiotic, o2 sats and vitals have been normal the entire time. said i may have pneumonia or its the infection? any ideas ?

Pneumonia=Infection: Pneumonia IS an infection (of the lung). Very hard to say in your specific case (we’re supposed to give general, not patient specific, advice), but generally if you’re gradually feeling better overall, you probably are getting better. Call your doc to arrange a follow-up appointment

Unclear: I am really not sure what kind of ideas you are asking for. I agree with Dr Letneck. We can't read your chest x-rays if the radiologist had some uncertainty. If you are asking about the radiographic studies, you could probably get a second opinion on the X-rays through telemedicine consultation.
