My normal body temperature is 97.6 and when i stand and walk around it is 97.6. for the past month however, when i sit down it goes between 98.4 to 99.2?

Normal Temperatures: Normal Average Body Temperature for an Adult is 98.6. Normal range of temperatures can go from 97 to 99. One explanation why your core temp might raise during while at rest (sitting) is that in the absence of muscle work creating heat, your hypothalamus triggers an increase in core temp to make up the difference and raise your temp. Since they are all normal temps, it is not of concern.
