Proctologist: In my experience proctologists provide are best to diagnose, advise, treat and follow-up on benign anorectal problems like fissures, hemorrhoids, proctitis. Other specialists don't seem as enthused about treating such problems. If your rectal symptoms remain problematic, consult a proctologist.
