SNRI: SNRI medications can cause some memory loss and confusion as a side effect. Talk to your Dr about the pro's and con's of using SNRI's if you are experiencing these symptoms. There may be other medications that you can safely take without the same side effects.

Not major issue: Antidepressants do NOT prevent memory loss or any disorder causing loss of intellectual function, but can affect focus and concentration subtly as a side effect. If stopped, this is reversible, not permanent.
