Memory loss from: Drinking is a sign that you are addicted to alcohol. Alcoholism is a slow but steady disease which causes damage to your body and brain over time. Memory loss and blackouts are serious signs that the disease is taking a toll. Get help to stop drinking before more damage occurs. A combination of aa and psychotherapy are the treatment of choice. You may need additional help but start there.

Memory loss: The best way to stop memory loss after drinking, is to stop drinking alcohol. Alcohol is a toxin to your brain and your liver, as well as many other organs in your body. Depending on extent of the drinking episode, it's possible to have memory blackouts. These show you're in a danger zone of alcohol abuse/dependence and may need help to stop. Your doctor can make recommendations.
