Memory itself ok...: You are describing a well known phenomenon--ocd interferes with many important cognitive abilities. But it doesn't actually harm them. This means that if the ocd is reduced, these functions will return. Severe ocd is best treated by a combination of behavioral, psychological and medication therapies, by an expert with experience. Check your nearest academic center for a referral, or ask your md.
