Methotrexate: Methotrexate affects cells in the hippocampus, part of the brain with an important role in memory. Studies are looking at how other drugs, such as prozac, (fluoxetine) can protect the hippocampus from Methotrexate damage. In addition, symptoms of RA (pain, fatigue) can interfere with concentration and information processing. To be at your best, try to follow a healthy diet, exercise, and get enough sleep.
