Any such benefit from lithium orotate is anecdotal and speculative and unencumbered by data. It is not a replacement for Prozac, but you a correct to think you may no longer need the Prozac. Consult with your doctor first, but you can probably taper and stop it and see how you feel.

There are no accepted studies that lithium prevents Alzheimer's. Pl do not speculate and make decisions about your medicines. Best to see your MD and discuss what's best for you- for he/she knows you best. Good luck
