My bp has been higher than normal recently. spoke with gp and he wanted to up my metoprolol er from 25mg to 50mg but did not write a prescription. do i just double the dose with the pills i have?

Increase. BP meds?: As you may know we cannot prescribe here. Discuss with your local team. Ask if you can add the DASH DIET rather than increasing.meds This would meet US guidelines unless you r dashing now. Ie doing the DASH diet.
