Cardio give me metoprolol for palps and to slow down my hr, from stress. gp said he preffe propanol bcuz it would help with my anxiety more, oppinons?

Propranolol is the oldest beta blocker,is not as cardioselective and thus has more side effects,is not used much as an antiarrhythmic anymore. Propranonol has been used to treat anxiety and tremulousness however.
