A member asked:

After finding out i've got low grade dyskaryosis, i'm being sent for a colposcopy. how likely is it that they'll find cancer? really worried

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fair: Before the pap smear, 30000 women died in the usa each year of cancer of the cervix. Following up now almost guarantees that now matter what is found, you will not end up a cervical cancer mortality statistic. That's really all you need to know at this point. Good luck.
