Careful follow ups: With your history, you should be having mammograms every 6m to a year. Any findings should be followed up with ultrasound and if needed biopsies. The best way to catch breast cancer early is to stay on top of the imaging. Make sure you attend follow up visits where your Dr will look at the imaging reports and determine the next steps. Women with Birad 3 had only a 1.6% rate of malignancy.
