A member asked:

Would you wake up right after a nocturnal seizure? or does this argue against a nocturnal seizure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Following a seizure, there is a post-ictal period lasting sometimes up to 30-45 minutes. Furthermore, some of these events cause falling out of bed, with possible head injury or concussion, with resultant amnesia. Seizures themselves are often forgotten, another source of amnesia. In other words, the subject rarely ever knows what occurred.
