A member asked:

Is it normal to have variations between different ultrasound machines? 1 ultrasound tech measured twins at 1 & 2 days ahead then few days later another ultrasound tech at another practice said 1 & 2 days behind. strong heart beats. both say normal?

Sonograms : All sonograms have technical margin of errors. This is part of the technology. The further along in pregnancy the larger the margin of error. A 1-2 day difference is considered normal.
