Numb mouth: This is odd after blood donation. The mouth numbness is not normal- PLease call your doctor and seek advice or go to the nearest Immediate Care or Hospital - these symptoms may be totally unrelated to the blood donation.

Mouth numb: When he fainted did not fall on his face? That could account for the numbness, Fainting twice is not common. Is he one of the very few cases of people who developed a stroke? Why did he have a drip? Needing a drip after donating blood is not common. Sound like you should start with telemedicine if you can't see a doctor in 20 minutes go to the hospital.
