I tested covid positive. my son was unwell and tested covid negative. my paed still wanted to treat him as positive. what do i do?

Treat ? : As of this point I know of no universally accepted treatment for kids exposed to Covid, other than a few suggested vitamins. Their general risk is minimal. When you post a question it would be better if you listed specifics, like what treatment was proposed. Most of those done by some are not a risk.

COVID 19: You didn't tell us if he had symptoms or not. Do you mean that he wanted to your son to quarantine? That sounds reasonable. Or are you asking about treatment with medications? Rest, hydrate, quarantine & eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Naprosyn is a good choice if NSAID’s are used. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing,
