Hi.we have tested positive for covid last week.my son 12 years old did isolate with his grandparents and tested negative last week.today he is coughing allot and nasal drip.oxygen is 99%.does he need antibiotics and another test?

Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. COVID testing: Negative test, went to isolation with grandparents, now coughing and runny nose. If he has not had an exposure, probably does not need another test although it may be of reassurance to all concerned. There is no role for antibiotics in COVID or viral infection.
