Trauma: Emergency rooms are not well prepared to treat most dental emergencies. Better to take him to a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist. There may be damage to the bone/gum tissues surrounding the teeth, the underlying forming permanent teeth, the nerves of thereby teeth, in addition to the hard enamel covering of the teeth. Important he be seen immediately.
