Anti-inflammatory: You would be better off taking advil, aleve (naproxen) or Motrin if you are able because of their anti-inflammatory properties. Some dentists recommend Acetaminophen (tylenol) every 4 hours and Ibuprofen (motrin/advil) alternating 4 hours. If you don't feel the need for a stronger pain medication, then by all means, take the otc medication. Good for you!
