No: There is no evidence that estrogen found in Vagifem can cause breast or uterine cancer. That said, there is evidence that in women who have had breast cancer or uterine cancer, use of estrogen can cause a relapse. This is because there may be leftover cancer cells after treatment that can be reactivated by the estrogen
