Fever/swelling: Sounds like an infected (abscessed) tooth. This can spread rapidly and create significant havoc. By for he should have a history of regular dental care for the last 3 years. Get him to the Dentist, or a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, immediately, before the swelling in his cheek (spreading infection) causes eye damage.
