As holiday cards are pouring in can you get covid from mail?

Highly unlikely: The fears of surface contamination have been way overblown, and mainly comes from non-medical sources. There is little if any risk of the virus surviving on paper, or even cardboard, especially during time it takes to mail. Do not worry and enjoy the holiday

COVID 19: The COVID 19 virus does not live well on soft, porous surfaces - so it dies quite quickly on paper. Additionally, surface contamination is not the major source of disease transmission. This would be low risk for COVID 19 transmission.
