Good day, my husband and i tested positive for covid 19 yesterday. we need to know which medication we need go get and who is able to assist with prescription as our gp is on holiday. thanks?

See below: There is little specific treatment for Covid-19, other than antibodies, steroids and remdesevir. All of these require prescription. For self care take paracetamol for fever and/or pain, no more than 4 g/day, no alcohol. Drink enough water and fruit juice so your urine is mostly colorless. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to a hospital immediately. Wish you good health!

No specific meds: Rest, hydrate, quarantine & eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Naprosyn is a good choice if NSAID’s are used. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
