I had wisdom teeth surgery 4 weeks ago. now my molar next to where my wisdom tooth used to be hurts to bite down on food feels like a toothache with nerve pain. any ideas?

Dentist: Could be from normal shifting of tooth but could also be infection developing due to space left by removed tooth getting debris or germs trapped in it. Contact dentist who removed tooth and let them know what you are experiencing as you may need at least exam if not other intervention. Do no delay as infection could be bad. In meantime gargle several times daily with antibacterial mouthwash.
