Symptom care: Appropriate use of Topical Steroids limits their daily use to 14 days. Twice a week use can be continued for month. Red Skin Syndrome (Burning, stinging, and bright red skin) can occur if used for longer. Treatment includes discontinuation of steroids, applying ice/cool compresses, OTC antihistamines. If the symptoms continue more than 1 week, you will need to consult a DR in person.
