IBD: Findings suggest inflammatory bowel disease for which timing treatment is delicate as escalating symptoms have to be assigned correctly between the natural course of the main condition and acute conditions, such as food poisoning, for example. Trust your docs, stay in touch with PCP also.

Agree with Dr. P: I would add that you should follow your GI's recommendation for repeat colonoscopies and biopsies to assess any changes that may put you at greater risk of colon cancer. Wish you good health!
