I had a severe food poisoning that got me in the er. i was sore for several months, after that episode, and had symptoms. colonoscopy should colitis and ulcers, and doc thought i had crohns. my new colonoscopy everything cleared up, no meds. bug?

Interesting story. No true food poisoning is likely to last for several months, and overt colitis with ulcers also is uncommon with any food borne infection. It's good the problem has cleared up, but be on the alert for recurrence, which could happen if it really was inflammatory bowel disease, like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis.
