Diagnostic Radiation: Diagnostic radiation is usually a very low dose and is needed for images so your son's physician can determine what ails him. It is quite understandable that you are concerned, but without radiographs a diagnosis may not be possible. Risks are low but they outweigh foregoing treatment.
