Orthopedist #: a 53 year old friend said that he had a titanium hip transplant and i saw him walk unaided up 20 steps the day after operation. hmm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good surgery result: People who are younger, healthy and of normal weight often do very well after hip replacement. Many say it is such a relief not to have the pain and limited range of motion that they are excited about getting back to normal activity.
