Been losing weight so seeing doctors.. the last one the gastro will run tests..said my stomach is gurgling ..had colon cancer 11 yrs ago.. can this be something other than stomach cancer? i pray i'm just nervous?

Understandable: Being nervous as a colon cancer survivor and in the presence of unexplained symptoms is absolutely normal. There are definitely many conditions other than cancer that can account for your symptoms. With your history and given unexplained weight loss, cancer in general remains high on the list and will have to be ruled out. Trust your docs and stay positive.

Have mild Ab discomfort in URQ/ULQ, GERD, and health anxiety. Gastro Doc ordered ab/pelvic CT scan WITH CONTRAST. Results normal. Had clear colonoscopy 5 years ago. Worried about colon cancer - could CT w/ contrast detect colon cancer at all?
