Is there a really effective medication to treat gerd symptoms that won't mess with your stomach? i've tried nexium and it just makes me feel worse then the gerd does?

Before meds: The lack of response to PPI (Nexium) that should help with reflux makes the diagnosis questionable. Best would be to see your doc with a log of your symptoms. If you are established with a gastroenterologist even better as few tests may be needed in order to solidify a diagnosis first.
